2019年1月11日 · Nice rifle. Yes, the 516 is still on the Sig website, but in another forum there was a link provided to a pdf copy of the official 2019 Sig catalog. The 516 is not there, but 716 still lives, with a new model available in 6.5 creedmoor. Also missing for 2019 is the P227 and several versions of their 1911 that had previously been produced.

2012年5月8日 · I am going to be getting a new AR and have narrowed it down to two; either the Colt LE6940 or the Sig 516. Both have rails, flip up front and rear sights, 1 in 7 barrels, chromed lined barrels, and same price. The only difference is a piston vs. and DI. So, which one would you go with and why. It will be used for three gun and patrol work (Deputy).

2011年5月22日 · I have no experience with the Sig 516, but I am sure it is a fine rifle. If you have a ton of money to blow for a safe queen AR, go with the LWRC or POF, but if you want a shooter that is better than most, go with either the SIG or the Ruger, but I can vouch for the 556 as being a solid platform you'll be proud to own and shoot for years as I have.

2012年4月14日 · Upon getting it home, I saw that the internals are freakishly almost the same as my two LWRC rifles. Hell, the BCG is EXACTLY like my LWRCs, minus the lightening cuts that the Sig 516 BCG has. The piston, op-rod, and return spring look almost THE SAME as my two LWRCs. Its odd, really. :dunno: Over fit and finish are amazing.

2012年6月30日 · I traded my complete 11.5" Stag Arms SBR upper w/ Troy MRF-CX rail, and Aimpoint PRO, for it. IIRC, the shop wanted about $1000 for the upper, however, it does come from Sig with the BCG, Charging Handle, Buffer, and Buffer Spring.
