2024年2月3日 · Maybe, though the USSR was still a continuation of the Russian Empire, whereas Russia was an administrative unit inside the USSR. You wouldn't see the SSR flag internationally very often, and practically everyone would say their country was the USSR, not RSFSR. Sorta like the "flag of the United Kingdom" evolving from England to Great Britain.
