My intended use - Gravel road, about 3/4 mile - flat, but is does wash out a bit in heavy rain. Snow removal on about 1/4 mile of said gravel road finish grading around the farm

2004年6月2日 · I have two blades and one box scraper. None of them are much good if the ground is hard and dry. I took one of the blades and built a ripper for it and it will dig real well. After the dirt is torn up either will do a good job. The blades do a pretty good job moving snow and the box scraper will move dirt.

A couple of HF 10" pneumatic wheel swivel casters (about $15 ea) and three layers of 3/4" plywood laminated together and sawn to shape on the bandsaw. I attached it to my scraper with a lag bolt thru one of the attachment holes for the cutting edge.

2011年11月2日 · Welcome Sawdust. I have an older International and this summer I picked up a lightly used 6' Land Pride scraper box for $550 and I really like it. There is a bit of a learning curve but mostly it is common sense to put it to good use. This winter I plan to use it to help with snow clearing although I do have a FEL as well.
