2018年3月18日 · The windy season used to be March. The weather patterns have changed tremendously in the last 5-10 years, though. Sometimes the windy season doesn't show up until mid-April or even May, occasionally it hardly shows up at all. I'm in Santa Fe, and there's been no windy season this year, yet. We'll see.

It can get very cold, windy and cloudy during winters at times which is cold by my definition but this is less common than the siping days in my experience.

After some research we discovered that the downspout rattled at the connection joint to the gutter in severe wind storms and my lazy (ex) husband wasn't about to climb a ladder to the 3rd story to secure it -- in all fairness, I didn't do it either.

2025年2月27日 · It was very windy that day, but Santa Monica Municipal Airport's (which is pretty close to the Palisades) top wind gust was 55 mph...which is extremely windy and more than enough to get a wildfire going and to topple trees and power lines...but a lot less than 100 mph.
