Beneath the Cross: Lent, Holy Week & Easter at York Minster
2025年2月20日 · York Minster has today announced its programme of services, events and activities to mark Lent, Holy Week and Easter 2025. The Lent Cross, the central symbol of the Christian Faith, will be suspended from the Central Tower on Shrove Tuesday and will remain in place until The Day of Pentecost.
Installing our solar panels | York Minster
184 solar panels have now been installed, blessed, and switched-on on the roof of York Minster. The panels took four months to install, with every care taken to ensure their safe and discreet placement on the South Quire roof.
