Apr 26, 2022 · I was using Kubuntu 21.10 until yesterday and QBittorrent was correctly using UPnP to do the port forwarding, however since I installed Ubuntu 22.04 yesterday, I've needed to manually configure the port forwarding on my router and manually open the ports in the firewall for QBittorrent to connect correctly. Has anyone else seen this issue as well?

I am having issues with connectivity for Qbittorrent 3.1.11 on Ubuntu 14.04. To be more specific, no matter what setting I attempt to use to download, none work. I constantly see no DHT nodes.

Feb 15, 2013 · The version of qBittorrent in Ubuntu is always quite old (since it's updated regularly and most feature and minor bugfix updates don't make it into the official Ubuntu version). But there is an easy solution! qBittorrent's maintainer (sledgehammer999) maintains a PPA providing stable qBittorrent builds. I recommend using that.

But when I put it in the startup applications it starts in the default window which is not the expected behaviour. How can I make it launch minimized when launching manually or from startup.

There is a package qbittorrent. To install it run following commands: sudo apt update sudo apt upgrade sudo apt install qbittorrent Now to run through Terminal just type : qbittorrent and it will start working.
