2014年8月19日 · Most paid for books from the iBooksstore have DRM and can only be read using the iBooks app. Android is not possible for them. The same goes for any books in the interactive .ibooks format, even without DRM. Books in the epub format without DRM (usually free books) can be read on any device with the appropriate ereader software.

2017年9月13日 · Syncing my devices with iTunes ensured these PDFs were the same on my iPhone and iPad. Now, with the books tag absent in iTunes, iBooks is essentially a useless App. I’ve temporarily moved some of the files to the Adobe Acrobat app which has its own cloud and allows storing files in user defined folders.

2017年6月1日 · If you are using iCloud Drive for the iBooks app I'm not sure why you are trying to use iTunes - for books on a Mac iTunes is only used to select and sync books that are in the Mac's iBooks app to a device, you don't add books to iTunes itself (so it won't show in the image in your first reply), and if using iCloud Drive you don't need to sync ...

2017年1月14日 · But: I can't find the iBooks app for iOS 5.1 (max for this iPad); I think it is iBooks version 3.1 or 3.1.1 Have searched on the net, but all hits lead back to App Store, which doesn't have this version (or any version, as far as I can see).

2013年12月22日 · Try downloading the current version on your computer's iTunes so that the app is in your purchase history, then go to the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your iPad and see if you can download a 5.1.1 compatible version on it.
