Sep 20, 2010 · ZZr idle Altititude here is a bit low I guess (600 ft or so above sea level). I'm running the standard cr9s. I have the idle adjusted right around 1350. might be a tad low around 1250-1275. But lean might make sense since like I said the bike idles better when it warms up above 205-210F.

Sep 28, 2010 · I plan to buy the Factory Pro 1.0 jet kit and a better fuel filter soon after getting the 2008 ZZR 600. A jet kit made a huge difference for my cruiser- the factory sets the carbs way too lean so it runs like shit until completely warmed up, so the exhaust is clean enough to pass the EPA testing designed for newer fuel injected bikes.

Apr 22, 2020 · I have a ZZR-600 E model from 1999, my first bike, been riding it for a couple of years now only at Spring/Summer season. I also own a VN 750 Vulcan 1990. I need some advice understanding the temperature gauge. My temperature always stays around the second mark on the gauge when riding outside the city.

I'm looking to replace mine with something that will eat up the miles. I do an 70mile roundtrip each day to work on my 96'ZZR 600, so I want value for money.

Mar 19, 2019 · I have had my 08' ZZR 600 for a few years now and love the ride. I know everyone raves about the stability of the J model Ninjas, but I'v had a few sketchy moments with my ZX coming over the crests of hills at high speeds and such where I get some head shake.
