Apr 30, 2017 · For a ZT it’s quite thin behind the edge—noticeably more so than the ZT 0450 or Benchmade 940—and is a pretty awesome slicer. The billboarding is a travesty, however. With the blade open, the lock side writing is as follows: “Zero Tolerance 0460 KAI USA Sinkevich Design Ser. XXXX S35VN.”

Mar 1, 2019 · I'm leaning towards the 0460 because it looks like it will make a better slicer and I tend to prefer thin and slicey grinds. My current favorite knives are Spyderco Caly 3.5, BM 940 (although I wish it sliced better), and Ritter mini grip , so I guess I'm hoping for whichever ZT is closest to those.

Apr 20, 2017 · The 0460 (mine anyway) only has a washer on the CF side. There is no recess in the Ti scale. In my experience, the difficulty might be related to getting the back spacer, stop pin and pivot all in alignment—mostly the stop pin and backspacer. Some times they go together with almost zero tolerance. (Sorry. I’ll show myself to the door.)

Jul 30, 2015 · K Knifeaddict556 I like them both, and although the 0460 IS a bit thinner behid the edge, IMO the 0450 makes a slightly better all-around EDC. These are my impressions; YMMV.-The 0450 feels more solid in hand. I think this has to do with grip amgle more than anything else.-The 0450 feels slightly more controllable, probably for the same reason.

Jun 20, 2006 · ZT 450 is one of the best EDC out there IMHO. I like the sprint runs with interesting steels/handle variations. 450 is the best compact knife in ZT's lineup - action, size, weight are all perfect. The only con is it a bit thick behind the edge, as was mentioned already, - but it is not a deal-breaker considering all of the pros.

Jan 16, 2017 · Love the design of the knife. Almost want to buy one in fact. But as with most ZT Models, its got one thing stopping me, that being the size. 8.9 inches is a bit out of the range of what i generally carry. And the 0460 is too small, so. Still might pick one up, but ill have to handle it in person first to make sure.
