2001年12月17日 · Well, first of all, cast reflect on Yu Yevon. And disable the things beside him. Then just take him down with physical attacks. It's actually quite easy. If you hit Yu Yevon, he cures himself, so with reflect on HIM he will cure you, and you cant actually lose once you get to him. So, just make sure you have reflect and have high magic with Yuna!

2002年5月25日 · An alternate way to do it is casting reflect on Yu Yevon, so when he tries to cure himself he will cure you. You can cast reflect on yourself so when he uses gravija, it will do 9,999 to him.

my interpretation: because when sin (yu yevons body or armor) is destroyed by the final summoning he bonds to the new aeon (final summoning) i think what they were trying to do by summoning all the aeons was, kind of lure yu yevon out, maybe into a more corporeal target, maybe to weaken him through the process of attaching to a new host then being destroyed. …

2001年12月17日 · Yu Yevon was the leader of Zanarkand during the war with Bevelle. Because he was about to lose, he turned all remaining citizens into fayths. Afterwards, he gathered lots of pyreflies around him which became his "armor" and thus he became the first Sin. The instructions Yu Yevon gave Sin was to destroy machina and large settlements.

You can then use Doublecast and multi-hit ODs to overpower Yu Yevon's counter. And since a normal attack will always hit for at least 9999 damage, you can use the Warrior OD mode to charge ODs without the fear of Yu Yevon healing back to full.

The reason behind Iazinicki's post is that Braska's Final Aeon is the 'real' final boss, since you can't die at Yu Yevon (unless you succeed in petrifying yourself). But indeed, YY is an easy victim to Zombie+PD/Life. Doom also works well. [---

2006年2月1日 · re: Possessed by Yu Yevon? If you've tried killing all the aeons but their names keep reappearing, then you've most likely used cheats. Solution: don't use codes if you want to complete the game.
