Sep 18, 2009 · Edit - Just checked out the deep sea diver page and she doesn't cover the logos on her other equipment which looks like it's all vintage stuff, so if it is her playing bass for the yeah yeah yeahs, maybe it's because of some other contractual obligation that they yeah yeah yeahs hold? Or maybe it is a squier.

Nov 27, 2003 · You know, bands like The Blues explosion, The Yeah, Yeah, yeahs, the black keys and of course the white stripes are making quite a stirr of playing without a bassplayer (although Jack White of the White stripes DOES use an octaver to provide the low end on their records) But let's not forget that there are likable bass-less songs out there too.

Tension and feel on upright vs electric are 2 totally different worlds, because the physical demands and technique are different in terms of pulling the sound out of the instrument.
