The first generation of Yamaha Atmos enabled AV receivers did however include both Pro Kogic and Dolby Surround upmixing, but this was at least 5 years ago.

2023年2月7日 · TLDR: if your speakers are perfect positions, get the Denon. If your speakers deviate from perfect position, wait for Sony and/or look for Yamaha. If going with 8K Yamaha AVR, make sure you have an in home trial to test with your TV. Denon/Marantz are proven performers. Audyssey XT32 is excellent with the app/Ratbuddysey.

2025年1月20日 · We are already seeing a long time since the last new model release. I don’t think Yamaha will be coming out with any industry leading new AVR/AVP innovations. The new models will probably just try to keep up with the features offered by the competition and not fall too far behind. Another possibility is for Yamaha to exit the AVR/AVP market.
