2008年11月12日 · The YZ490 that Broc Glover rode in 85 was really close to a stock bike.He beat Dave Bailey on the trickest works Honda ever produced in the history of motocross.Glover is an amazing rider and the YZ490 couldnt have been all that bad. But I am not going to argue with someone that has owned one as I havent.

2011年2月28日 · LOL that's my recollection of them as well. Perhaps the foul-behaving aircooled YZ490 was fixed with the custom cyl/head? Looks like it uses heat differential to circulate the coolant, hot stuff exits the head replaced by cool(er) stuff down at the cylinder base. Wonder how that would hold up under a pro in a 30min +2lap moto?

2018年9月27日 · rebuilt 82 Yamaha yz490 having problem with kickstart. when I put it back together it all worked great for a couple of kicks then the part of the spring that inserts into the kick shaft breaks off, so I then have to lift up the kicker before I can kick it over again. not ideal.
