Although we offer reservations, we hold a handful of tables throughout the night for walk-ins. Xiao Ye is a cozy and intimate space, so if you are more than 15 minutes late to your reservation, your table will be given to a waiting guest.

Xiao Ye is a neighborhood restaurant in the Hollywood District in Portland, Oregon serving first-generation American food. We believe in championing the food from our respective childhoods growing up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, as well as the recipes we’ve picked up along the way.

We welcome award-winning cookbook author Kristina Cho to celebrate her latest cookbook, Chinese Enough. For two nights only, Xiao Ye will prepare recipes from Kristina’s book inspired by her own experience as a first-generation American, alongside Xiao Ye’s a la carte menu.
