2009年11月5日 · The '88+ XR600 uses the same cylinder head, cam, rockers, valves, springs, etc, as the 650L. There is nothing to be gained by swapping. The only difference is that the 600's head cover has a manual compression release over the right exhaust valve. Go with your original plan of a piston and cam.

For example, your bike doesn't have a big gap between first and second gears, so you don't need to swap the NX650 second gear, et cetera. 2012年12月11日 · XR600 2.83 So they are not that different gear ratio wise. I've read stories of the XL600R going 50k before rebuild. I hear also tales of the XR600 doing the same but hard to confirm, no real speedo/odo. Would I be better off buying another XR600 and when I get a chance put the trans parts from either a XR650L or some combo with the NX650/XR650L ?
