XCR1 - Wikipedia
The "C" sub-family of chemokine receptors contains only one member: XCR1, the receptor for XCL1 and XCL2 (or lymphotactin -1 and -2). XCR1 is also known as GPR5. The protein encoded by this gene is a chemokine receptor belonging to the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily.

2024年12月25日 · XCR1 (X-C Motif Chemokine Receptor 1) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with XCR1 include Covid-19 and Epilepsy, Familial Adult Myoclonic, 7. Among its related pathways are Class A/1 (Rhodopsin-like receptors) and GPCR downstream signalling.
XCL1 and XCR1 in the immune system - PubMed
The XCL1-XCR1 axis plays an important role in dendritic-cell-mediated cytotoxic immune response. It has been also shown that XCL1 and XCR1 are constitutively expressed in the thymus and regulate the thymic establishment of self-tolerance and the generation of regulatory T cells.
Crucial roles of XCR1-expressing dendritic cells and the XCR1 …
2016年3月23日 · In the gut, there exists a minor DC subset defined as CD103 + CD11b − that also expresses the chemokine receptor XCR1. In other tissues, XCR1 + DCs cross-present antigen and contribute to...
The Role of XCR1 and its Ligand XCL1 in Antigen Cross …
Recently, the chemokine receptor XCR1 has been found to be exclusively expressed on a subset of dendritic cell (DC) known to be involved in antigen cross-presentation. This review aims to summarize the known biology of the XCR1 receptor and its chemokine ligand XCL1, both in the mouse and the human.
JCI Insight - The XCL1/XCR1 axis is upregulated in type 1 diabetes …
2025年2月27日 · XCL1-deficient mice display a diminished infiltration of XCR1+ cDC1 and subsequently a reduced magnitude and activity of islet autoantigen-specific T cells resulting in a profound decrease in T1D incidence. Interference with the XCL1/XCR1 chemokine axis might constitute a novel therapy for T1D.
XCR1 - an overview | ScienceDirect Topics
XCR1 is a unique chemokine receptor in its selective expression in CD8α + cDC among murine splenocytes [47]. XCR1 is a receptor for XC chemokines, which include XCL1 in mice and XCL1 and XCL2 in humans [48]. XCL1 and XCL2 are very closely related and have 98% amino acid sequence homology.
Molecular basis for chemokine recognition and activation of XCR1
2024年11月20日 · The X-C motif chemokine receptor XCR1, which selectively binds to the chemokine XCL1, is highly expressed in conventional dendritic cells subtype 1 (cDC1s) and crucial for their activation. Modulating XCR1 signaling in cDC1s could offer novel opportunities in cancer immunotherapy and vaccine develop …
XCR1 - an overview | ScienceDirect Topics
XCR1 is a chemokine receptor that belongs to the G protein coupled receptors superfamily, is exclusively expressed by cDC1 and conserved across species. In humans there are two ligands, chemokines XCL1 and XCL2 that are produced by activated …

XCR1 expression and biased VH gene usage are distinct features of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma initially manifesting in the bone marrow. The expression patterns of XCR1 and XCL1 were conserved in human and mice blood cells, including certain dendritic cell subsets.
