Here are my pros and cons about being a dish tech Pros: working independently, I rarely see my manager and any of my coworkers unless u need something u don’t have on your van. Always on the road driving around to customers homes , meeting new people is actually fun and exciting.

Apart from my “trainer” not training me at all just giving me the cold shoulder i was overwhelmed with anxiety and nervousness. I had to relocate a dish for a customer who was obviously Falling on hard times.

2021年3月10日 · Dish's reputation is so bad that one of the major business schools in the state for a long time did not allow Dish to directly recruit on campus due to so many complaints from alumni about awful work conditions and treatment. If there are 2 companies to avoid working for in Denver, it is Dish and Arrow.

2023年11月13日 · I have the OTA adapter provided by Dish connected to a good antenna in a good location and can receive all my locals with 90+ signal strength (all green). The adapter has been connected for several days. Before I contact Dish to stop charging me for locals I'm trying to iron out all the bugs.

Person interviewed and was excited to join a quasi-techy, quasi-media company, but even after the pandemic, dish still has this old-school culture of tracking your hours, tracking your comings and goings.

2016年6月2日 · I worked in an office for a Dish subcontractor 2005-2006 and worked for Dish directly 2009 to 2013 at the Littleton office. Don't do it unless you're desperate. Most of what has already been mentioned is true. A penny wise & pound foolish philosophy, high turnover, and trickle down belittling as a style of management.
