The Fairfield Rotary Club will host the 2025 Wine & Arts Festival on Saturday, May 10th from 10am to 6pm at the Wayne County Fairgrounds. The day will feature wine tasting, art, live music, food and craft vendors.

Doug B. Harwell, 51, of Sparta, Missouri, formerly of Fairfield passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025. Doug was born May 26, 1973, in Centralia, Illinois, the son of William and Sharon (Shank) Harwell.
