It is currently the 16th largest on-campus college football stadium in the NCAA and is located on the corner of George Rogers Boulevard and Bluff Road adjacent to the South Carolina State Fairgrounds. Carolina football teams consistently attract standing-room-only crowds to Williams–Brice Stadium.
When the Gamecocks take the field on gameday, Williams-Brice Stadium is packed with approximately 80,000 screaming Gamecock fans, making it more populated than all but four cities in the state of South Carolina.

Home to the University of South Carolina Gamecocks is Williams-Brice Stadium, recognized as one of the finest facilities in all of college football. Carolina annually ranks among the nation's leaders in attendance and Gamecock fans are regarded as some of the most loyal in the country.
University of South Carolina Board of Trustees approves Request for Proposal for architecture firm to begin reimagining Williams-Brice Stadium. The project will initially focus on the design of the West and East Side of the stadium, which is Phase 1 of the project.
