Jul 23, 2004 · Also, whenever the water is on full blast, at any of the faucets, or the appliances (dishwasher, clothes washer), there is a banging noise, that seems to be coming from the water meter. It is coming from the basement, but can be heard upstairs, so it is fairly loud. Is this normal, or is there a flaw in our meter? Any advice would be appreciated!
