2022年10月19日 · The brass waste-tee exit port has no slip nut, this has me baffled Yet it somehow mates with black iron and that odd slip nut. So there is some mystery fitting(s) between the drain tee and the nipple+90 elbow. I had replaced the wastewater drain gasket, cracked and leaking due to age.

2021年2月26日 · Had a minor emergency when I started to drain a full kitchen sink. The waste tee slipped off of the sink tailpiece (see photo) and proceeded to flood the cabinet, floor, and basement. Maybe vibration from the garbage disposal contributed to loosing up the washer over time? There must be a better way than this big-box store slipnut and washer.

2023年11月5日 · To make up the difference in height we attached a 1.5 in to 1.5 Fernco coupling between the brass drain pipe and caste iron waste tee (we cut the brass pipe drain line to make room for the Fernco coupling). The flex in the rubber Fernco couple makes up the difference in height and now the tub flange sits flush with the floor of the tub.

It's basically a 3/4 x 1 1/2 x 1/2 tee. The portion that sticks outside of your house is a 3/4" piece of plastic pipe that would have cap on the end with holes drilled into it.
