2023年10月28日 · WRIF had its three worst ratings in the 1990's Fall 1991: 2.8 Summer 1992: 2.6 Summer 1993: 2.3 They did quite well from the 1970's up until about 1987. From 1995 onward they also earned high ratings most of the time. Wikipedia claims that WRIF almost gave up on Rock in the late 1980's, which might not be accurate.

2023年10月28日 · I feel like WLLZ was playing the "harder rock" of the two. I could be wrong, but in the 80s, WLLZ was quicker to play stuff like Twisted Sister, Motley Crue, GNR, Poison, etc., whereas WRIF was playing more Robert Plant, Don Henley, Billy Joel, stuff like that. I don't remember too much prior to 1991 or so.

2024年12月21日 · WRIF was usually around a 1.5 share in Genesee County during the Drew & Mike era. WJR's numbers in its home market of Detroit have crashed so hard over the past 10 - 15 years that citation of Flint market numbers from that period would likely be not reliable.
