I recently bought a used 2008 WR250R and it came with a nice FMF powercore 4 silencer and full fmf exhaust system that I suppose were bought together. This being said, should I do anything else to the bike? Not really talking about new mods but more about support mods that help the bike get along with the not OEM exhaust system.

2011年8月7日 · The displays on the WR250R have a design fault. If the power feed voltage drops too low for too long then something pops and messes up the receiving of the speedo sensor signal to 3x actual speed. Otherwise the display seems to work fine.

2021年3月25日 · I just purchased an '08 WR250R moving up from a vintage XR250L. I have also owned a DRZ400 a loooong time ago. My memory tells me that the DRZ400 actually is a lot like the WR. They are both taller bikes who feel a bit top heavy due to water cooling even though the weight is comparable to other bikes (like older air cooled 650 models).

2020年12月8日 · don’t forget that the wr250r motor is based off the r1 motor. literally 1/4 of an r1 motor. cut the tenere motor down to one cylinder but keep the new drive geometry — which would be ~350cc Reply reply
