2018年8月13日 · WMM was turned on. So, I turned off WMM and walah! The lag spikes are gone. Speed tests are the same, maybe slightly faster. What I don't understand is while doing research I also read that turning off WMM bascially turns your wi-fi into "g" mode meaning (54 Mbps). I am definetly NOT getting "g" speeds with WMM off. Speed tests were still 350-400.

2017年3月22日 · The orbi system has been great with the exception of one thing. When a device on my network is streaming video, the orbi goes overboard in prioritizing bandwidth to that device. It seems like that device gets about 95% of the bandwidth. I turned off the WMM option for both 2.4 & 5 bands and while it's "better", it still seems excessive.
