2018年10月9日 · WEB-DL is an exact 1:1 Remux of the original video/audio stream from iTunes/Amazon, it's always the best quality. I believe WEB is the same thing as WEB-DL. WEBRip is when they record the output using an HDMI capture card.

2022年5月26日 · A 720p BluRay might be better than a 1080p WEB-DL in quality.. that really depends on how things got prepared and transcoded for the bluray or the streaming site. Personally, I think some DVDs are of higher quality than 1080p web stuff, because it was simply upscaled. So I would not say you can simply tell the quality by those two things.

Based on what I know this means its a HBO Max WEB-DL enconded using x264(higher file size) and with E-AC-3(DolbyDigitalPlus) sound. This all sounds good, I check the bitrate in the torrent info and it says "Overall bit rate: 9 905 kb/s". Great!

WEBRIP is where you take a screencap of something playing from a streaming source and re-encode it, and you might see differences between groups.

2022年5月22日 · As Ibcap said it’s a case by case basis thing. Depends on the source of the Web-DL and the encode. For example, on PTP an Amazon Web-DL is not automatically trumped by an encode unless comparison screenshots are provided that prove it’s an improvement.
