On August 18, 2024, in honor of the station's 75th anniversary and concurrent with its rollout of owner Gray Television's "GrayONE" standardized graphics package, WBRC modified its logo to reintroduce the 1981–1998 "6" logo, while retaining the 2015 "WBRC" neon-style wordmark.

Although the news logo reads as "6 24 Hour News", Channel 6 News remained the station's newscast branding; this continued for the first two years under the Fox 6 News brand.

WBRC transmitter, with the station's roof also visible; the neon sign seen in the lower portion of the image with the WBRC call letters is a local landmark, and inspired the station's current call-centric logo. On March 1, 1961, WBRC-TV signed an agreement with ABC to become a full-time affiliate of the network. [7]

2024年8月26日 · The iconic 6 logo made an epic comeback on Aug. 18, 2024 when WBRC rebranded from WBRC FOX6 News to WBRC 6 News. The 6, a nod to the logo used back in the 70s, became the focal point of the new logo, and the WBRC letters made to look like the famous neon WBRC sign seen atop Red Mountain overlooking the city, is a fan favorite.
