Nov 14, 2015 · The Bosch manual states “Cars, light/medium duty trucks and tractors, where the fuel tank is near the VP, may not need any more flow than the internal fuel pump supplies. Equipment where the fuel tank is a longer distance from the VP may need an external feed pump. Stationary equipment and tractors may have a head tank supplying pressure.”

Oct 6, 2012 · I have a 2002 original owner 6spd HO w/ edge EZ 4" exh 141,000 total on truck original VP. had the FASS installed a yr ago and everything im reading lastnight tells me my VP44 is now toast. I will get the codes pulled Monday right now i have P1693 and (E234 i added the waste gate elbow fitting when i did the EZ).

Dec 23, 2013 · 1) make sure engine is at TDC when you remove the gear from the front of the vp 2) when you remove the VP do not touch the shaft because you will need to use the old VP to reference where to clock the keyway on the new VP 3)the bolts you need to thread into pump gear are 8mm 1.25 thread pitch IIRC

Jan 2, 2009 · marlin - I do not have any experience with it but the BD high performance VP-44 seems like an excellent choice. 90 day warranty and no problems tapping the wire. Anywhere from 80 to 100 hp gain. And I have spoken to John at Holland Court and he has positivie things to say about it. A customer of John's just averaged 26 mpg on the highway with it.

Jan 25, 2025 · My VP 44 leaks fuel on the back side where the lines connect to go to the crossover tubes then to the injectors. Right at the back side of the vp44 when I turn the key on but not cranking fuel leaks out of 3 of the lines then when I crank it shoots normal out of all 6… curious if this is normal or if it’s a sign of a bad vp44.
