2023年4月21日 · The AC10 errs on the 'brighter' side. It does have decent low-end but there's no shortage of top on these little guys. Not necessarily a negative but you will need to re-tweak your overdrives. *I dig mine because it has the Vox medium grind "blizzard of nails" tone in spades. And that's kinda all I use it for.

2015年9月14日 · In my experience, I prefer the AC10. I purchased and used an AC4 with the 12in speaker last fall and used it for about a year before trading it in for the AC10. When I play I like a lot of clean headroom, and the AC4 didn't offer it to me (in live settings). I've played the AC10 for about 3 weeks and don't have any complaints.

2016年5月1日 · Ditto KC's comments. I'm on an AC15 kick right now, but it started with my playing an AC10 at the local music store. I liked it a lot, and the price was right, but if I ever wanted to play with a band I didn't think the AC10 was going to cut it. So I tried an AC15C1 with greenback and liked it a lot.

2020年8月15日 · Amp wise, I have the Class 5, a late 70”s Vibro Champ, a Monoprice 5 watt tube, and a Vox Pathfinder which I have removed the gate LED from. Clearly I need a new amp to go with the RIC 12. I think it should probably be a Vox AC10 (JC22/40 makes the short list as does a Princeton Reverb and an AC15).

2017年5月11日 · The ac15 does sound very different to an ac10 IMO I cant agree that an ac15 is a great bedroom amp. It will be all preamp tube an no power tube tone. 2017年12月3日 · The Vox AC10 is definitely more versatile, and has a master volume and bass/treble controls, reverb, etc. I like 'em both for different reasons, but if I had to choose one over the other, it would be the Vox.

2024年3月2日 · I found this to be mildly interesting. At the moment I have both the Vox Pathfinder and Vox AC10. I won't keep both, one will go, probably the PF. Just for fun I decided to A-B them. Was surprised to find they sound almost identical. Yes they are both Vox. But one is an 8" ss, and the other a 10" tube.
