2020年6月27日 · I am creating this thread just to confirm that both are possible, which is already known, but the process of setting everything up requires quite a bit of know-how, which isn't posted anywhere in a single place and, frankly, takes forever to figure out. I've just done setting up my Virpil cockpit to work with this thing, so - here goes: HOTAS

2021年6月3日 · So, as per Virpil's own information, their stick is 100% compatible with the Warthog base (and vice versa of course). The only difference is that Virpil introduced an extra signal for a twist axis. The only downside is that that twist axis doesn't do anything on a Warthog base (as expected). But it doesn't cause any additional problems.

2019年12月10日 · The X (2), Y (1), and Z (3) axes can be swapped for the HOTAS ones, where Z I found to be HZ, in case you like those better. I figured that the POV on the joystick actually had 8 directions, but it seems that I can't really press all but 4 of them.

No experience with the Crosswinds, but I've owned the Saitek Combat pedals, the VKB T-Rudder and now the Virpil ACE-2. My reason for selecting the ACE-2 over the Crosswinds is that I generally like to keep my heels on the floor. My HOTAS set up is all Virpil so the Virpil pedals seem like a good fit.

2021年3月17日 · YUP. Kind of a pain in the ass. The workaround is to enable the experimental keyboard emulation. in the software on the profile page is an option to "Enable Keyboard Mapping" I also tell it to use a shift modifier.
