2023年10月23日 · The VFJ is in talks with SUV makers to collaborate. The Army has sent its Request for Information (RFI) for procurement of a new all purpose vehicle. The RFI is also open for the private sector and would be responded by the Army based upon the design as the TOI newslink from today reveals.

The company, which now comes under Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL) is headquartered in Chennai and owns the intellectual property rights for the car.
