Ventura Port District To fulfill its rescue mission, the Ventura Harbor Patrol is equipped with two rescue boats, one rescue/fire boat, and two 4-wheel drive vehicles. Its full-time officers are well trained in boating safety and enforcement.

2024年5月29日 · The Ventura Port District (District) Board of Port Commissioners (Board) announced that a funding agreement has been signed with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) to receive a grant of $200,000 for the improvements of restrooms and shower facilities at Harbor Cove Beach, Surfers Knoll Beach, and the District’s public launch ramp.

2023年4月5日 · Ventura Harbor’s beaches including Surfer’s Knoll Beach, South Beach, and popular Harbor Cove Beach (or Mother’s Beach as the locals call it) on Spinnaker Drive, have now being largely replenished, allowing the beaches to reopen and be available to the community.

All of the land area within the City of San Buenaventura is within the boundary of the Ventura Port District. It is the only special district of its type in Ventura County.
