The RV-14/14A is the latest aircraft design from Van’s Aircraft, Inc. It continues — and improves upon — Van’s legacy of the most successful side-by-side, two-seat kit aircraft in history: Van’s RV-6, RV-7, RV-9 and RV-12.

Derived from the four-seat RV-10, RV-14 design work was commenced several years before its 2012 debut. It is an aerobatic two-seater designed to accommodate large pilots and offer greater baggage space, to comply with the US experimental amateur-built aircraft rules.

2020年10月24日 · More than a few eyebrows developed an arch when Van’s Aircraft announced a new RV-14/14A firewall forward package. Per the published gross weight performance data, sea level top speed gained 13 mph, 75% cruise (at 8000 feet) rose by 10 mph and the rate of climb jumped from 1500 fpm to 1680 fpm.

RV-14 aircraft can fly with a maximum cruise speed of 330 km / h and go at 305 km / h using 70% power. The aircraft can travel up to 1,400 nm in eight hours of flight. It has a range of 938 mi with a light weight and 925 mi with a gross weight.
