The VLC native style has a lot of options, both in the main menus and in the playlist Most of these are lost when using a custom skin. After searching for a skin that would keep all the native style options, without success, I wander if this is really possible.

I also use it since my fresh Win10 install last year (by "fresh" I mean it wasn't an update installation but a pure installation after format) so there is less room for problems. Until yesterday VLC worked fine but since then all videos I ran in VLC doesn't contain image --- Only sound.

2010年10月20日 · Open VLC preferences, goto Video Options --> disable the checkbox 'Window Decorations' Next go to the "Interface options" --> disable the "embed video in interface". This will play the video in a borderless window (works on Windows as well) the only thing I haven't figured out is how to set the size of that window).

I'm using VLC media player which can play almost all kinds of audio and video formats. While listening to audio, I keep VLC in minimized mode and can work on other windows.

Have to restart VLC a few times to make sure this kicks in. Can check by e.g. toggling dark mode to see if it changes. Once it does, the new full screen setting should work.
