Jan 1, 2017 · Watching this in 4k really brings out the details on the first V-Rex that say "this one is a juvenile". It looks....smoother. It's body is not as bumpy and ridged as the others. It helps when I look at the jaws, the older ones have bigger and more fucked up teeth. There seems to be a difference in the coloration of their hides as well.

Jul 17, 2022 · They are roughly the same size, but Indominus has a whole bunch of genetic upgrades, including, most notably, increased intelligence and camouflage. The camouflage may not be a huge advantage on its own since V-rex probably has a good sense of smell, but combined with Indominus's ability to plan an ambush, I don't think V stands a chance.
