Located at the mouth of Salt Lake City 's Emigration Canyon, Hogle Zoo is one of the largest zoos in the Intermountain West, and houses over 800 animals representing 139 species.

Utah’s Hogle Zoo stretches over 42 acres of natural hillside terrain and contains 8 major exhibits including the Rocky Shores, African Savanna, and Asian Highlands exhibits.
