Students must receive a baccalaureate degree before August of the year they intend to enter medical school. Applicants must have an undergraduate cumulative overall and science grade point average of 3.8 or better.

The M.D. program learning experience at the University of Central Florida is a unique and exciting blend of state-of-the-art technology, interactions with simulated patients, clinical and laboratory experiences, research, facilitator-directed small group sessions, and interactive didactic lectures.

Applicants to the UCF College of Medicine M.D. program must complete both the online American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) and UCF College of Medicine Supplemental applications. Each applicant is responsible for meeting established deadlines and monitoring their application status.

The UCF College of Medicine offers an M.D. degree, graduate medical education to residents and fellows and undergraduate and advanced degrees in biomedical sciences through the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences.

UCF College of Medicine tuition and fee rates are reset annually and cover courses taken during the academic year. The structure and length of the academic year changes with each class level. Although the academic term is the full academic year, tuition is billed semi-annually.
