why dont the battle buttons match the size of the battle "speechbubble"? (the square box below the enemy)

I recently made a recreation of Papyrus' unused "Flustered" sprite from his date as seen in the Undertale Art Book. Would I be able to add this to his sprite sheet?

This looks pretty cool, but having the button icons use dark red on the top half makes them hard to read for me. The dark red is fine for the bottom half since it's acting as a background color for the orange, but it's blending too easily on the black on the top half (see my edit below).

the first sprite in the "used in the demo's instruction manual" (the one that's not holding the bowl with food) is actually used in the game. It is seen when you spare her 13 times and then choose the fight button and attack her.
