The Department of Aviation Sciences contains four programs: Aerospace Technology Management, Aviation Management, Aviation Science, and Professional Pilot.

The School of Aviation Sciences offers several options that students can start with to build a core in aviation science basics. Build off of an Associate of Science degree or a certificate into a bachelor’s, or jump straight into the workforce after an Associate of Applied Science.

Prepares students for the rigors of an aviation interview by reviewing important areas including Federal Aviation Regulations, aviation specific discipline knowledge and interpersonal skills necessary to successfully obtain a position in the aviation industry.

Students receive specific training under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) 14 CFR Part 141 and Restricted Air Transport Pilot (R-ATP) regulations to qualify for specialized employment requirements.

My research tells me a degree is necessary so after looking at schools that offer an r-atp I've found myself coming back to UVU over and over. Does anyone here have much experience with them or recommend a different school?
