Our horizon sky maps show half of the sky over the UK for each 2-hour time frame. This is automatically refreshed each night. Look at them over a few days to see how things change. Use the images to plan your stargazing. Choose a direction you want to look in (for example, west) and look at the image of the night sky.

3 天之前 · Stellarium Web is a planetarium running in your web browser. It shows a realistic star map, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope.

The map also shows National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England and Wales, and the National Parks and National Scenic Areas in Scotland. Once you have your bearings, be sure to switch on the ‘night lights’ layer to show the range of light levels in that area.

The Star Atlas shows a 360 degree view of the night sky for any given location and time up to an elevation of 60 degrees. The application shows stars down to a magnitude of 5 along with all the planets.
