2015年5月11日 · The truss rod won't affect fretted notes farther than the ~5th fret. First adjust your string saddle height for fretted notes at the 5th fret and higher, then adjust the truss rod for open strings and fretted noted at the 5th fret and lower. BTW...the recommended specs are a reasonable setting to give good play-ability for most players.

2021年11月7日 · Ive always seen results almost immediately (maybe a minute) after making an adjustment. Ive had to turn a truss rod two whole rotations on a Gibson 335 once, 1/4 turn at a time. I eventually got it to where I wanted it, and it barely moved after the final adjustment

2012年3月12日 · It sometimes denotes a different truss rod which CAN sound different. My new standard had a bi-flex dual rod yet sounds great. The warmoths with a dual rod sound like cr@p. Go figure....there are always a million considerations clouding any issue here. So i don't think it's necessarily where the adjuster is as much as what type of rod.

And some people are addressing a different question, which is “how long do you have to wait to safely make a second truss rod adjustment?” Which is another question completely. My personal experience is that mahogany neck Gibsons are basically immediate and almost 100% complete within minutes.
