I loaded some in .44 Mag today and found the following: 1) It metered EXACTLY same weight with each drop. a)I tried it with the "Little Dandy" pistol loader and with the adjustable RCBS powder dispenser.

2016年12月16日 · I love True Blue. It is excellent in 9mm, .38 spl, .45 ACP, just about everything. In my Marlin 1894CS I use 7.4 gr of True Blue under a 158 gr or 180 gr WFN bullet for just over 1300 fps. Deadly accurate and clean.

2021年10月11日 · Regarding burn rate we had a discussion which said that True Blue works slower in the longer magnum straight cases (357 Mag) compared to the shorter pistol cases (ie 9mm). I get better velocity with published load data using True Blue compared to Unique in 357 Mag. Unique beats it hands down though in 38 Spl +P 158 gr SWC applications.

2024年11月7日 · In the handgun section of the Lyman 49th edition, for the 205gr cast bullet, Lyman recommends min 7.6 gr max 8.5 gr True Blue. The other charges listed with the other powders are identical to the "group 1 weaked action" in rifle section of the book.

2010年6月16日 · We have the following loads for the 380 Auto using a 100 grain lead bullet and Ramshot "True Blue" smokeless powder. Start Load: 3.4 grains Max. Load: 4.1 grains C.O.A.L. .970" If you reduce the Cartridge Over All Length you must reduce the powder charge accordingly. I hope this answers your questions. Best regards, Keith Anderson

2011年8月11日 · I have AA9, but that's closer to H110/WW296 in some respects. I have thought of True Blue, Longshot, Power Pistol, VV 3N38 and N105. For handgun laods, I currently have WW231, Universal, AA5, VV 3N37, Blue Dot, AA7, AA9 and H110/WW296. Blue Dot has been my fav 357 mag powder, and my go to powder for med-heavy 45 Colt, 44 mag.

If IMR BLUE is indeed similar to BLUE DOT, then things should be fairly close with respect to velocity and pressure. The pistol is a stock Glock 20-SF Targets circles 5½” at 25 yards. ( same size as the ‘black’ on a standard 25 yard pistol target )
