2010年2月3日 · I have a buddy who works for Toyota as a Tech and the motor mounts for the smaller V-8 used in the 05-09 4Runner match the motor mounts for the V-6 Tacoma. It is entirely possible to do an engine swap, but you will have to reinforce the suspension and you will lose a good deal of your payload capacity with a small gain to your towing capacity.

2008年1月3日 · If you want an easy swap and V8 power, your R150F won't hold up. Do it right the first time or you'll be fixing it for life. Find yourself a Chevy small block and a TH700R4, rebuild both to your choice of power rating, and swap them in.

I used a 1990 blazer doner truck and swapped the entire drive train. The single most expensive thing was the 4" suspension lift kit to clear the oil pan.

2008年3月15日 · Toyota lowered the engine on the '75 Celica RA22 to fit the 20R. The 4 speed W40 and the 5 speed W50 swap with no problems. Beware that the W50 came in a few different versions that had the gear stick in different places depending on the donor car. The 1600cc 4A-GE may be a little under powered unless you like living with high revs all day.

I know the wiring will be a mess, but does the tranny be a direct bolt up. My tercel has a 2nd generation 5efe ... 5spd. I'm planning on making a 11 second street legal tercel.
