I have a 2004 Sienna Limited and I'm interested in converting it from its current 7 passenger setup to 8 passenger. For some reason Toyota only offers the 8 passenger setup in the lower trim levels, so we went with the 7 passenger setup. Now our family demands another seat, and I'd prefer not to buy a whole other vehicle just to gain a seat.

I want to make a it 8 passenger. I thought that I could just buy the middle console 2nd row seat like the 2011 Toyota Sienna, there are lots of those for sale on ebay but not for the 2005 sienna. I looked at some videos about removing the seat and there's one that shows the racks for the bench seats that come on the 8 passenger van and I looked ...

I have been looking for 04 Sienna (8-seater) for months now. Getting one 8-seater is almost impossible within the region. The dealer just sold me the 03 Camry SE told me one of the reason why there are not too many Sienna built to satisfy the demand is properly Toyota don't want any mistake on the van which means slow production.

Sienna package 5 has VSC, as that is a critical item for me. It also has curtain airbags, rear discs, wiper de-icer, DRLs and a few other goodies.

I noticed that the 2nd row, both the corner seats have latches, but wondering how safe it is to install either an infant seat (Chico Keyfit 30 ) or a booster seat (Britax Frontier 85) in the 2nd row middle seat secured by the seat belt?
