2021年4月6日 · A toucan's neck is actually 'S' shaped and not that big, and bird skin is pretty transparent, so extra skin is there to support the feathers. Lots of bird species have this, it's completely normal. The person in the video is basically just pulling back the feathers.

These marvelous creatures can grow up to 56 centimeters in length and weigh around 540 grams.

I would recommend a toucan over a parrot any day of the week. And I used to desperately want a macaw. If you are having trouble deciding, i recommend you go to a zoo that has one. ESPECIALLY the Dallas World Aquarium, who has the largest collection of toucans in the world. I would advise against a toco or keel billed toucan, though.

The bird is also a very skiddish type that as soon as we would slow down it would fly away. We have never seen anything like this around here. Asked the local birdwatchers...

But that makes it the only bird pokemon to follow real life gender differences for birds. Males are the colourful and flashy ones while females are dull and boring in comparison. Still would have been nice to get something to act as a replacement for the male’s mask/crest/hair thing…

2020年9月1日 · I see you've never seen real toucan plumage. Note the fuzziness of the head/neck area. They are super-extremely-ultra-mega-maxi-soft and fluffy! Note: I make no judgement on whether OP's repost is of a real or fake bird, but to say that it's fake because its feathers look like fur is fundamentally to have never seen a real toucan before.

2023年3月14日 · IIRC this is the toucan that had its beak smashed by Brazilian teenagers that thought it would be funny. It was found starving, as it had no means to eat anymore. A kind soul home made a solution with a 3D printer, which is mentioned in this article.
