2012年1月9日 · As you can see there is only about a 1/4" of wall from the bullnose tile to the corner. Not sure that just cutting the baseboard at the tile is attractive, it looks like it is (unplanned.) (pic 1) Cutting the baseboard flush with the wall the tile is on might be an option, but is that really acceptable? (pic 2)

2007年6月3日 · Greetings from a newbie to this site. I just finished laying new 1/4 inch porcelain floor tile in my guest bath and was considering using tile for the baseboard. The old floor had 4 inch square tile with a 4 inch bull nose base board tile. I went back with a 12 inch square tile. I've laid floor tile before but have never tried doing tile baseboard.

Options I am considering include 1) Screwing into wall above baseboard with drywall anchor or going into stud (won't look nice being that high up). 2) Drilling into baseboard tile and then stud (I'm worried about breaking tile). 3) Floor mounted stop (Worried about breaking tile).

2017年6月6日 · Blue tape, a thin spacer like a cut up paper towel cardboard tube and sanded grout that matches the tile. Use the blue tape to cover the baseboard. Use the cardboard roll to leave a tiny gap at the bottom of the baseboard for caulking. After the grout dries, cover it with blue tape and use some latex caulk at the bottom of the baseboard.

2019年5月7日 · Hey all - having trouble figuring out how to tile and trim the edge of my shower. Using a fiberglass shower pan and will use schulter jolly trim at the edge of my shower tiling. My shower door will be a dreamline semi-frameless mounted to the tile. I'm unsure what to do at the transition from tile to baseboard to floor to toe molding etc.

2023年1月22日 · I removed the tile baseboard in my powder room and ended up with several large gouges in the drywall. After the floor tile is replaced, I plan to install a new wood baseboard, and it's fine if the new baseboard is taller than the old one.
