2023年3月7日 · No, TiVo does not “know” devices won’t work. They have no idea what cable providers are doing and when. TiVo sells a product that is 100% compatible with cable cards and tuning adapters and every provider who uses QAM is fully capable of supporting them. Spectrum is DECIDING not to. That’s not TiVos fault nor responsibility to inform you.

2025年1月5日 · My power on sequence is virtually always to power on the Vecima and the TiVo at roughly the same time, then after TiVo reaches the TiVo Central page plug in the USB regardless of the state of the blue light, blinking or not. It shouldn't take long after plugging in the USB to get a Tuning Adapter Connected message on the TiVo.

2024年12月19日 · TiVo for cable (Roamio, Bolt or Edge) all require a cablecard. Without a cablecard a TiVo for cable model can continue to use its streaming apps, which are not considered very good at all and are extremely limited. TiVo models that support cable and OTA can be used with antenna, without a cablecard, obviously.

2023年9月29日 · I wrongly presumed that wifi capability would be built in. But it is not. It requires the purchase of TiVo Wifi Adapter, which with shipping is another $80. (they don't say whether third party adapters are ok, but maybe) TiVo also does not warn you that the Mini Lux can only be used with TiVo Experience 4, which I prefer not to convert to.

2021年6月3日 · The Tivo Stream is a streaming device like the Roku. Picks up online streams like Netflix, Amazon prime, YouTube tv, and the 100's of others out there now. You would need an indoor (or outdoor) antenna to pick up locals. I get around 30+ stations with my mohu antenna.
