Sep 9, 2022 · Thrasher TRMF76H with alps guides and reel seat, heat shrink over Eva grips and a simple red and black fade that I built to fish 40 on. I used it as a diver rod for a family salmon trip last weekend just to get some blood on it.

Jun 23, 2016 · The only rod I've used that is comparable in that lower section above the butt, would be one of the Seeker Black Steel line of rods. They are a little more bulky and heavier though. Still love the BS's but these Thrasher rods we used Sunday are super light and strong. Those Winn grips are the shit! The end! As far as the acid wrap. Meh.

Mar 5, 2022 · If you do some homework you'll probably find out that Thrasher blanks when comparing power, weight and diameter are a very hard to beat, pound for pound value for an American rolled blank. 🇺🇲 My current personal arsenal is a RAW 86, RAW 75, TRMF-80, CrowBar railrod, BSC-7808 and the "must have" TRMF-76H. (about to wrap a 2nd one!)

Oct 31, 2020 · This is a custom wrapped rod using a USA made Thrasher blank, an Alps reel seat, and Fuji turbo guides. The rod is 7’6” and is rated for 30-80# line. It is in excellent condition.

Feb 21, 2021 · I know Jason hates when I say if but that 7’6” trmf thrasher is a perfect Hali rod unless you are fishing such heavy current that you need 3lbs of lead! If the 7’6” is too light for ya fish the 7’ heavy thrasher for Hali and you can still do live bait work with that one too. I don’t understand people who insist on fishing with ...

Jan 29, 2025 · Ran from skyline to Thrasher Rock off of some intel from a good friend Monday the 29th. We were closer to Nanaimo than Anacortes🤣🤣🤣58 miles and worth every gallon! Fishing was non-stop. Doubled up the norm. Kept 8. Released another 15 or so. The schools were coming off the bottom attacking the downrigger.
