2021年10月27日 · Haven't seen Ringu but The Ring was a masterpiece in atmosphere. I can definitely say The Grudge over Ju-On though. Although the sequels for Ju-On were more numerous and better quality, The Grudge took Ju-On and gave the sound effects, CG effects, make-up, and movement an uplift into even creepier.

The Ring is not to be underestimated but it loses a bit of it's scariness later in the movie, when they explain more about Samaras backstory and origins. The Grudge however is bone chilling from start to finish and it's the scariest movie I have ever seen.
