If the former (which would be essentially equivalent to 20:12, the current max pitch listed for Tesla solar roof installs) I would expect snow to slide off the roof fairly quickly, based on the bit of experience from the storm @trautmane2 referenced.

2020年5月11日 · Tesla is spec'ing the new tiles for my current roof design as well. Here's the datasheet sent from the solar advisor. Can’t find a link on their website yet. Tiles are the same physical size & use the same mounting & wiring hardware as the SR60T1 tiles, just improved efficiency. I'm assuming that they look identical to the SR60T1 tiles.

2011年2月20日 · FWIW a 45" X 14" Tesla Solar Roof tile weighs about 7 pounds ( I weighed the signed one I have). With overlapping that tile will cover 45" X 9" = 2.8 sq feet of exposed roof. 7lbs/2.8 sq. ft. = 2.5 lbs/sq. ft. for the SolarRoof tile.

Starting from 100% of a PV tile can collect sunlight, it works out to 10.7% efficiency. If only 80% of tile collects sunlight the tile efficiency is 13.375% Wow! That's pretty meager performance.
