Glad that helped you. I understand the reasoning behind the issue from Target's perspective. Company wants only validated users to have access to balance check page. However, from users perspective not every person who receives the Target gift card needs to have a Target account to check the gift card balance. Anyways, problem solved for now :)

2022年12月10日 · I pulled all the tampered gift cards off the floor the week of Christmas. Now the scammers have moved on from using stickers to gluing the card to the paper holder. SMH, I pulled all those too. Target doesn't glue glue down the security code side of the gift card to the holder. As long as you check the security scratch off, you'll catch the fakes.

There on the very first page when you type target gift card balance on google. Have you checked your balance on sites not from target.com? Turns out the $20 gift card was used at a Target in Brooklyn (Atlantic Terminal store to be exact). How does something like this happen? I just removed the gift card from the packaging last night.

This way, someone can't scan the physical giftcard at the register, say it has a hundred dollars or whatever on it, then someone spends the digital giftcard, and then the person with the physical one says, "But the Service Desk person told me not ten minutes ago that there was a hundred dollars on this!
